Rachel (Greg's sister) got married on Tuesday, November 26 at the Oquirrh Mountain temple in Utah. We came up for the occasion.
This is right outside the temple. Grandpa Burr and little Emily. Yes, her coat is on upside down...
Grandpa and Grandma Burr and Emily. It's no secret, Emily was tired and grumpy!
Their reception was that night in the Provo Library. Here is the Burr family, even Malerie (who is currently serving a mission) was represented in the picture.
Emily eating a pumpkin roll at the reception. I think she likes it!
Since the wedding was right before Thanksgiving, my parents and little sister were in town and came to the reception. Here is Cassidy and my mom.
Here's the whole crew.
Congratulations Rachel and Blake!
The day after the wedding I invited some of my co-workers over. We had so much fun catching up. They will forever be my dear friends. Thanks Marissa and Lisa!
Then we took Emily to the park and played in the leaves. She was so happy!
On Thanksgiving Day we hung out with my family. In was quite a fun crew: Dad, Mom, Whitney and Adam, Ashley and Ben, Derek, and Cassidy. Never a dull moment with this bunch!
Emily all ready for church, Gemtek fly swatter and all!
Right before she got in trouble for playing with the ornaments on the Christmas tree...
On Monday, December 2 we went to Ethel M. Chocolate's to see the Christmas lights. Emily loved it even more than last year! It's no Temple Square, but it's pretty awesome!
Then we went inside to get our free chocolates. This picture was too funny to NOT put on the blog!
Gotta love Christmas lights on palm trees!
The happy family, even though this picture makes me look three times the size of Greg!
Our little cutie!
On Thursday, December 12, we went to see a live Nativity. It was outside and was so realistic. Here we are with the shepherds. Emily loved petting the real sheep.
Here we are with Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus. I hope you are all having a wonderful Christmas season.

Happy Halloween!
I know, I know, I've been such a slacker lately as far as our family blog goes. In fact, my sisters have started asking me to post pictures of Emily because they haven't seen any in so long. Well, here you go and good news, she's still cute!
Last month we had a lot of fun getting ready for Halloween. I took Emily to this free Halloween Carnival across town. She LOVED it and best of all she got some treats, toys, and even a really nice fall picture!

For Halloween, Emily was a ladybug. It was so fun to experience Halloween with her this year. We even took her trick-or-treating!
She loved watching us carve the pumpkin and see how the jack-o-lantern lit up. It was a great Halloween.
We also discovered her new favorite hiding place...the closet. For some reason she likes my side of the closet better than Greg's. Oh well, at least she's happy!
On Veteran's Day we went to the Wetlands Park. We walked around the park and saw birds and turtles. Emily really liked seeing the animals up close.
The water was pretty awesome too, although we couldn't stay for long because Emily was afraid of it. We brought sack lunches and had a nice family picnic. It was a fun day.
Last Monday my brother Joel came into town for a work convention. We met up one evening for dinner. It was so fun to hang out, especially since we rarely get to see each other. Doesn't this picture get you excited for Christmas?
Me and my brother Joel in his sweet hotel room. Joel is the oldest kid in our family and I am the sixth.
One last picture to brighten your day!

Fun with Family
We decided to spend Labor Day weekend up in Utah. It was fun to be in Provo for a few hours hanging out at Ashley's house while my parents were in town. We had a great time catching up. (Cassidy REALLY didn't want to be in the picture, but you can see her head in between mom and dad's!)
Then we drove up Provo Canyon to hang out with the Gundersons (Greg's mom's side). It had been an entire year since we had seen most of them. It was fun for Greg to reunite with his only cousin that is his same age. Here we are with Adam and Amanda and their baby Stanley.
Emily and Joel being cute!
Then we headed up to West Jordan to hang out with the Burrs. As it turns out, Emily LOVES the trampoline:
She is also a big fan of the swings. Isn't that smile to die for?
Before we headed back to Nevada, we all went to the zoo. The giraffes were by far the best.
Of course the kids loved ALL of the animals. They could have spent the entire day there!
What a fun family outing. Maybe we should make it a Labor Day tradition! In photo: Jesse, Joel, Aubry, Meric, Dad Burr, Mom Burr, Eric, Greg, Emily, and me.
When we got home, Emily went right back to playing in her favorite place...the kitchen cupboards! I can't get her out of them!
Her other favorite place is sitting on the desk right next to Greg while he is really busy composing music.
On Saturday, September 21 we attended Greg's cousin's wedding up in St. George. Got that? The picture above is of Greg's grandparents with their four great grandchildren. So sweet. Emily loves holding hands and sucking her fingers. I swear she doesn't get it from me...
While in St. George we walked around the tabernacle and hung out in the park.
The park was so fun! It had a carousel that only cost a buck to ride. That was definitely a highlight for the kids! It was a good trip!
As for this week... it has been great. The highlight happened yesterday. I finally completed my Popcorn Reader blog after posting every day for a year. My siblings all got together and surprised me with this awesome flavored popcorn from the Popcorn Factory. The package said, "Popping with pride on your huge accomplishment. So proud. Luv u!" So thoughtful and touching. I am blessed.

August Time
She already cheers for the RIGHT team.
At the beginning of this month we took a quick trip up to Utah. My mission president passed away, so we went to his funeral in Mapleton. It was nice to see some family and friends while we were up there. Here I am with my old roommates: Marissa (also my old co-worker) and Ashley (my sister). Although there were A LOT of babies there while we were catching up over lunch, we still had a good time!
Emily LOVED playing outside, since it wasn't 110 degrees!
She also loved playing with the cat.
We had a great time hanging out with Greg's family in West Jordan. Here's the crew: Aubry, Meric, Jesse, Rachel, Erika, Erik, Emily, me, Greg, and Joel eating the otter pop...
Mom and Dad Burr loved having all of their grandkids together.
The following week my old mission companion was in town for a wedding. We had her over for dinner and had a great time reminiscing. We were companions for 3 months. Good times!
One of Emily's favorite things to do is find all of her hair bands and put them on her arm. It involves a lot of concentration, but it is so cute!
Emily also started writing music. . .
Last week we got our family pictures taken. We were so nervous that Emily was gonna scream and cry the whole time. We were pleasantly surprised though. Emily did GREAT! Here are some of the photos:
