Mother of 2

Well, little Leslie is three weeks old now and still pretty cute. I had no idea having two kids would be so overwhelming. I guess my sister Sarah was right when she said if you don't want to be bored, have two kids. How did my mom raise eleven??

Here is proof I have no idea what I'm doing...Emily laying on the food at the store like a bed. I've never seen such flat bread...

Here is cute little Leslie.

She hasn't figured out the difference between night and day yet, but we have definitely gotten used to daily sleep deprivation.

We still like our kids though and are happy to have them.

I mean, she really is "adorable".

I took them to the park the other day when it was in the 70's. Emily looked like this the whole time.

And Leslie looked like this. :)

What do you think? Does Leslie look like Emily?

Here is Leslie going to church for the first time..she slept right through it.

My sister, Ashley came last week to help out. Not only was it fun, but she was so helpful and knew exactly what I needed since she has three kids of her own.

Awesome Ashley!

She even watched the kids so me and Greg could go out on a date.

My one and only

My cousin Anthony came to visit us as well. Obviously this picture was taken right after we woke up...

Emily thought he was pretty cool though.

Even though I don't quite have the hang of things yet, I sure am blessed to have these wonderful people in my life!

Leslie Loraine Burr

On Saturday, January 17 some of our friends threw us a baby shower. There were probably about 30 people there. It was pretty fun and we got a lot of great stuff. We had no idea that two days later...

Our baby girl would arrive 9 days before her due date.

Leslie Loraine Burr was born at 10:43am on Monday, January 19. She was 7lbs. and 13 oz. and 20.5 inches long.

I had planned on getting an epidural for the delivery, but when we got to the hospital I was already at an 8 and it was too late for pain meds.

 She was worth it though!

 Happy father of 2

Hanging out in the hospital

Ready to leave the hospital...she's even waving good bye.

Leslie meeting Emily for the first time.

Happily sleeping...which only happens during the day.

Leslie meeting Grandma Burr.

Sisters!

Sisterly love

Not a fan of the camera...

"I love mommy."

My bruises from the iv's...pretty gross.

Cute baby

Our Christmas treat plate this year. Talk about heartburn...

My contribution to the Ward Christmas Dinner...red velvet cookies with candy cane kisses. They were a hit!

Seeing Santa for the second time at the Ward Party. Look at how short Emily's pants are...it's a good thing she got clothes for Christmas!

Acting out the nativity by the Christmas tree.

 Playing with new toys.
