Happy December!

December has been so magical this year with our three little girls. Here is our 4-year-old, Emily.

Here is our 23-month-old, Leslie. For some reason, she is always missing a sock...

Here is our 8-month-old, Abby. It's even more fun because they are all so cute!

For Thanksgiving this year, we went to West Jordan, Utah and spent it with the Burrs. Grandma Burr made some cute turkeys with all of the grandkids.

The next day all of the adults played a very intense game of broom hockey. Not many brooms had survived by the time we finished playing!

Emily tried on her aunts' old Snow White costume. She LOVED it and wanted to take it home!

We made a trip to the BYU Bookstore while we were in Utah. Belle was there reading books to kids, so we got a picture. I think I was more excited than Leslie!

We drove back to Boise Sunday afternoon. About ten minutes into the drive they were fast asleep.

Cute little Abby

On Thursday, December 1 our ward had a Service Day Kickoff activity tying quilts. Emily even learned how to do it!

The next day our stake put on a live nativity. There was a room full of dress up clothes for kids to try on. Emily loved the angel costume!

Emily warming herself by the fire after the live nativity.

On Saturday, December 3, Greg went with the Joel Flakes to get a Christmas tree.

Greg had a lot of fun and found a really good one.

Since we had already put up our artificial Christmas tree, Greg put the tree up at work. It looks nice!

On Saturday night we went to see the lights in downtown Caldwell. They were really cool. We only got one good picture unfortunately!

Emily is going to be an angel for our ward's nativity. She was very determined to make her own costume. She made it entirely out of paper. Pretty impressive!

 Sisters!

 Abby being cute!

On December 6 it finally snowed in Boise. Emily had been waiting for it to snow since we moved here in April. She was so excited! Leslie was too scared to walk in it!

Here are my girls making a Christmas craft with our good friends, the Wrights!

 Best buddies: Leslie and Violet.

We hope you're having a great December!

NovemBURR

My November cuties...Emily and Leslie.

My favorite 7-month-old, Abby.

At the beginning of this month my old BYU roommate (Allison) came over with her 3 kids. They just moved here, so it was fun catching up!

Her 3 kids match up with ours, so it's especially fun!

On Saturday, November 5, we supported Melanie as she ran the Zeitgeist Half Marathon. Good job!!

 They are so weird!

On Veteran's Day we went to an awesome park in Meridian. The park was packed since there was no school. It felt like a summer day. We had a great time!

My girls were so happy I let them eat the brownie batter. Am I a bad mom?

Most mornings look very similar to this. Abby is their favorite!

Last Friday we went to the Village Shopping Center in Meridian to see them light up the tree. There was a fun country band playing and Santa even made an appearance!

After the tree was all lit up they handed out gingerbread cookies and chocolate chip cookies. The girls loved it! It was a fun night. There is Emily sporting her Gemtek beanie!

The next day my sister Cassidy was in town for her bridal shower. I was excited to prepare one of the games. It was so fun to learn more about her and Spencer's romance. They get married in a month and a half!

As mom says, "Abby just adores you!" I guess she does!

Socks and swimsuits...

Greg went to a convention in Chicago for five days last week, so we spent some time in Horseshoe Bend while he was gone. Grandpa Flake took the girls over to see the train.

I couldn't get a normal picture of these two...

Abby had cold feet, so Grandpa put his gloves on her feet. I guess it only made sense.

It was a fun time until we got kicked off for trespassing!

Now, a few pictures from Greg in Chicago...
It was so fun for Greg to go to Chicago for a Cleaning Convention with Joel!

Top of Willis Tower...this is Greg standing on glass that hangs 110 stories above the street.

After 5 days, Greg finally came home. "We're so glad when daddy comes home!"

 Halloween in Boise!

Emily is Elsa, Leslie is Belle, and Abby is a ballerina.
