Twin Falls

On Saturday, April 29 we took a day trip to Twin Falls. Since my sister Bethany's family was meeting up with us, our kids were pretty excited. Emily had her clothes all set out ready to go.

We met up at Shoshone Falls first. With all of the rain and snow we've gotten this year, it did not disappoint!

 We all got SO WET!!

The gang

There was even a rainbow, making it all the more magical!

We headed over to Centennial Waterfront Park for lunch.

The weather was perfect and we all had a great time!

Walking around the park.

We found a bridge!

A beautiful waterfall

You can see Perrine Bridge behind us. Twin Falls is SO PRETTY!

Then we headed over to the Herrett Center for Arts and Science at the College of Southern Idaho. It was a lot cooler than we expected!

Greg especially loved the telescope and asked a million questions about everything.

We saw a cool sun clock on our way out and then drove to see the temple.

"I love to see the temple."

It looked a lot different than when we saw it last at Derek and Clara's wedding...when the ground was covered in snow!

Before we left, we stopped to look at the Twin Falls, not as impressive as the Shoshone Falls, but still cool!

Turns out Twin Falls is a lot cooler than I expected!

An "Egg"cellent Time

EMILY is our little pancake eater. If you ever wonder who ate all the pancakes...she looks pretty guilty!

She has quite the imagination and made that princess crown herself.

LESLIE doesn't take afternoon naps anymore, but every once in a while she does...

She looks like a Precious Moments doll!

ABBY is such a cute and happy baby!

I was very impressed with her coordination here.

We dyed our Easter eggs on Saturday, April 15. The girls had a lot of fun!

The finished products!

After lunch the Easter Bunny came, so the girls looked for eggs.

Here they are opening up all of the plastic eggs to see how much candy they got.

Our little Easter Bunnies!

That evening we celebrated Greg's 33rd birthday. I'm so grateful he was born!

Greg and his daughters, Easter Sunday: April 16, 2017.

April 19 was Abby's 1st birthday. We hung out with the Wrights in the afternoon and had a great time. Here are Emily and Grady, they are good friends.

Abby on her special day!

Our 1-year-old!

Blowing out the candle with Daddy's help!

Abby eating cake for the first time...she REALLY liked it!

She got a little dirty...

She's SO CUTE!

 Still happy!

Gotta love this selfie!

Our little pirates: Emily and Leslie.

We finally celebrated our 7 year anniversary last Saturday. We went to see the ballet: 'Peter Pan'. It was so fun!

For FHE this week we invited the Millers over. Brooke went to high school with me and Nathan served with Whitney as a missionary. It was good time!

April Awesomeness

Back in March I took Emily to the doctor to get the rest of her shots taken care of for Kindergarten. She has been really nervous about getting them and had been talking about it for months. She did a great job though and is all registered for Kindergarten now. Look at our girl all grown up (even her pants are too short!)

Boise has seen a lot of snow and rain the last few months. The Boise River is so high! Here we are at the Boise River Greenbelt.

Emily and Leslie at the Greenbelt.

Sisters!

On March 26 we went up to Tamarack for Wesley's birthday. Great food, great games, and great company as always at Joel and Melanie's place.

Crazy cousins: Caroline and Emily.

The men moved Joel's dresser into their place in the snow while we were up there.

The next weekend Dillon, Emily, and Ruby came up to visit. These cousins sure are cute: Leslie, Abby, and Ruby.

April 2 was our 7th anniversary! Still happy to be together forever!

Our girls playing with the quiet book Mom Burr made them. They LOVE it!

Greg is officially the owner of Gemtek Homekeeping now. He manages his employees, helps with some cleaning, and even works from home. It has been different, but good!

Since we live in a duplex right now and it's not very big, we've turned our walk-in closet into an office. It serves its purpose and works for now!

Last Saturday I got my haircut. Before I left the house Greg told me not to get it cut short. Well I told the lady to cut it to my shoulders and this is what I ended up with. At least Greg still likes me!

Cute little Abby!

Abby turns one year old next week. She is such a fun baby!

Leslie looks so big in this picture. She is a little ray of sunshine.

Emily is obsessed with Disney princesses. I guess Mulan is a new favorite.

How does she fit in there?
