A 'BOUNTIFUL' Week

Bountiful Court Roommate Reunion: Ashley Dilsaver (married June 2009), Kelli Baker (married Aug. 2009), Haley Burr (married April 2010), Marissa Lee (married May 2009), and Natalie Gentry (married July 2009). Cool and weird to have the crew back together again.

On Saturday Greg and I went on a trip to SLC. On our way there we went to the Bountiful Temple. It was a really windy day, but fun to go to another Utah temple.

After the temple we went to the International Peace Gardens in SLC. It was fun and free (we like free stuff). It's a park with gardens representing different countries around the world. Unfortunately Uruguay is not represented...

This is the Chinese Garden. Greg is meditating...

This is the Swiss Garden with the Matterhorn (Greg looks chubby in this picture, but he's not in real life).

The houses in Switzerland must be really small...

Denmark's Garden

Scotland's Garden: Greg liked the rock formation on the hill.

Me hanging out in the German Gardens on the Linden Tree.

Japan Gardens: Greg is so strong he pulled this tree over.

Mexican Gardens... Do you notice any resemblance? Ancient Mexicans used to worship me.

These are the Korean Gardens (the rest of these pictures were taken for Derek).

Cool.

Derek, what does this say?!?

Thanksgiving Point

At Thanksgiving Point they have TWO dollar TWOSdays!!! It was so beautiful and green there (and a little bit crowded).

Greg's picture for his UVU graduation announcement...j/k.

Hangin' out in the Rose Garden.

Beautiful arches... so romantic!!

The Italian Garden (that's for you Dad Burr).

By the fountain in the Secret Garden.

The "secret door" to the Secret Garden.

This one is for you Dad Flake... look at all those flowers. So pretty. This is the Butterfly Garden.

A cool picture of the Rose Garden.

Greg in the Fragrance Garden sleeping...typical.

The last place we went to was the Mountain Garden. As a result of this awesome trip, we decided that it was totally worth $2!!

In front of the Provo Temple...we spend a lot of time there.

Look at us, we match!! You can't see it, but we also both have blue shorts. Man, we are so cool.

Doin' it Right

The last Monday in July we hiked up to Stewart Falls.

It was way more green than we remembered. It was like walking through the Garden of Eden.

What a hottie!

We were pretty excited once we got to the falls because we started to hear thunder and it was sprinkling.

The falls were gorgeous!

Yesterday we decided to go tandem biking. Have you ever done it? It is HARD WORK!! I have a huge bruise on my knee from doing it. It was a cool experience though.

We rode the "tandem" by Farrer. Look at all of the construction they have already done on the new school.

Maybe you can see it better in this picture. Provo Peaks Elementary, here we come!!

St. George: 115 degrees and rising!!!!

We arrived in St. George on Monday night. After a fun evening at Greg's aunt's house, we headed over to the Tuacahn to watch TARZAN. It was pretty awesome, but it was about 110 degrees the whole time.

The scenery was really pretty there.

Tuesday morning we went to the St. George Temple. It is so stunning and white. There is also a really nice Visitor's Center there.

We took this picture (obviously). Since our plans fell through with our totally awesome hike, we jumped in Quail Lake for an hour and called it good. The water was 80 degrees and felt nice.

Livin' it up

Last Monday me, Greg, Justin, Kelsey, Austin, and Whitney got up at 5:30am to go hiking. It was a rough hike, but here we are when we made it to the top of Castle Rock. Pretty cool.

It was very beautiful. Greg always says that he isn't very photogenic...

We are hardcore.

My husband is so strong.

On Friday we attended the Jordan River Temple. It was a colorful one.

A couple days ago Greg bought me some really pretty roses. On Sunday I wore this skirt to church and realized that I matched the roses. A funny coincidence.

The week of a Lifetime

FHE BBQ on July 5 with the Burrs, the Dilsavers, and the Rands. We know how to have a good time.

Greg and Haley infront of Provo River Waterfall.

Before the BIG HIKE in the Uintas Mountains.

During the hike: Dad Burr, Mom Burr, Haley Burr.

During the hike: Mom Burr, Haley Burr, Greg Burr.

There were beautiful waterfalls along the way.

Making it all the way to Amethyst Meadows: elevation 10, 360'!!! (note my hideous sweatshirt given to me by some dude on the hike because it was so cold.)

Amethyst Lake!!

We made it to Amethyst Lake elevation 10, 740'!!!

So happy!

We BOTH got dirty sweatshirts to wear on the hike. Can you even see my mother-in-law??
