Utah in October

On October 17, we headed up to Utah to see Greg's sister, Malerie. She had just returned home from her mission in Calgary, Canada. Since the whole family was there, we decided to go to Cornbelly's.

We all got lost in the corn maze, but still had fun!

Greg and Eric played some "Pumpkin" Dodge Ball.

Emily helped.

It was pretty hot for an October in Utah...and I kept telling Greg to bring long sleeves...

Emily has turned into a little prankster. She kept going around to people and putting rocks in their shoes...even people she didn't know! What a weirdo!

...just to prove to you how tough he is!

Watching people in awe.

This picture is to show you that I am in fact growing.

On Sunday, October 19 Malerie gave her homecoming talk. Greg and his mom played a great musical number and then we ate some yummy soup for lunch. It was fun to have the family all together again.

Sunday afternoon we left West Jordan and headed to Provo. We wanted to meet Dillon's future wife. Emily was pretty tuckered out.

Ben stole my camera pretty soon after we arrived and thought it would be funny to take pictures of "random groups". He got some good ones. Well, as it turns out...we like Dillon's fiancee pretty well. Especially because her name is Emily!

Cute little Ephraim...although he's not all that little anymore. He's almost a year old! Hi Cheyenne...

To make it even more awesome, our cousin Alan was there. Never a dull moment when he's around. He took a lot of selfies with my camera...

Although we were only in Provo for a little while, it was fun to see three of my siblings! Can't wait to come up again at Thanksgiving! Nice pumpkin, Dillon!

On Monday night we got to be the "Family Night Phantom" and take cookies to someone in our ward. It was fun to make Halloween sugar cookies. Maybe we can make it a tradition.

For the last picture, I thought I'd show you one of Emily's favorite places to play...in the dirt!

Happy Fall!

Here I am with my two "babies". 21 weeks along in this photo...I may be a little bigger now. :)

Sometimes when I think Emily is taking a nap, she is actually playing with her toys in the shower....

or putting on her swimsuit over her clothes (backwards)...

or sitting in her Bumbo chair (yeah, she still fits in it). Does this mean that I'm not a very good mom? She sure makes me laugh though.

Last Saturday we took Emily to a Fall Carnival by Greg's work. It was fun, even though it was super hot. Here is Emily petting the farm animals.

Emily by all of the pumpkins.

Playing in the blow up Halloween house.

Playing on the really scary slide!

And Emily's favorite slide.

Happy Fall!

Then I insisted that we go on this ride before we left. It was really fun, but it was a little embarrassing, my belly is so big I got stuck when the ride stopped!

Yesterday we attended the wedding of two people in our ward. They got married in our bishop's backyard. Emily was so happy she got to play with some of her favorite people.

Here we are with the happy couple. Happy October!

Labor Day 2014

With Greg's new crazy work load, we were nervous we wouldn't be able to do anything fun for Labor Day...but on Saturday afternoon he said he was done and ready to party!

So we drove up to St. George to hang with the Burrs. This is becoming a favorite vacation spot of ours...

Emily loved being with her cousins. They played all day together.

BFFs

The three amigos: Meric, Emily, and Joel.

The men all got thrown into the pool with their clothes on and hadn't brought any extra clothes to change into, so they all wore Grandpa Burr's clothes. It was really funny to see the outfits that they chose and how well the clothes fit ;)

What can I say? He always looks good!

Everyone got to participate in putting handprints in cement...Some enjoyed it more than others.

It turned out pretty cool.

Before we knew it, the weekend was over. In photo: Emily, Eric, and Erica.

Thanks everyone for making the trip so much fun! In photo: Emily, Rachel, and Blake.

Random Pictures from July and August

Back in February Greg was put in as Young Men's President in our ward. Ever since then I had been dreading Scout Camp because I knew he'd be gone for a whole week. As time got closer I was grateful to have great family and friends around who helped me not be so lonely while he was away. On Monday night we had the Yis over for FHE.

On Tuesday we went over to my friend's house to swim. On Wednesday my cousin Troy and his wife Brooke had us over for dinner. We had so much fun. The best part of the meal was when they announced that they were expecting and only two weeks after us! I was flattered they started asking me for parenting advice.

On Thursday I got to go to the temple and then went visiting teaching. Then on Friday my friend had us over for dinner. Greg got back on Saturday afternoon and he looked like this! Emily was afraid of him! He hadn't shaved or taken a shower for a week and he got food poisoning! We were so happy he finally came back to us though!

Our little Emily is both cute and...

NAUGHTY! Greg brought me some beautiful flowers from work and Emily destroyed them!

On August 2 my brother Derek had a layover here while he was on his way to Idaho. We had a nice visit, even though he had a crazy hat on!

A couple weeks ago Greg got his UNLV diploma in the mail, so I HAD to take a picture. It was a very exciting week for us. Greg got a job at Nevada State High School as an educational advisor and I got a job as an online substitute at Nevada Virtual Academy. I get to work from home! Doesn't he clean up good??

Emily loves to put on her "skirt" aka her rumba panties with both legs through one hole. It was so cute, I HAD to take a picture of what it looks like in the back...

Ha ha!

Emily gets a little confused sometimes and thinks SHE is the one that is having a baby. Well, she never ceases to make us laugh!

Mom Burr was so nice to watch Emily while I attended some trainings the last couple of weeks. Emily LOVED being with her grandma. It broke my heart when Emily started to cry when she left on the airplane. Buddies for life!
