On January 7, Emily was supposed to go back to school, but the winds were so intense and there was so much snow, they cancelled it!
That same day Greg texted me this picture of him at work. "It's a marshmallow world in the winter" as Dean Martin says.
Here are Leslie and Abby in front of a snow block by the Driggs Community Center. The winters are pretty intense here, but we're learning to like it!
On snowy cold days, sometimes our kids just love playing inside. In this picture Emily made some paper crowns for everyone and they had a blast playing together!
There are also frequent princess tea parties around here. I guess that's to be expected with three little girls.

He's starting to lose hair, but he's still so cute!
We celebrated Leslie's birthday on the 18th, even though it's actually the 19th. She loved waking up to a pancake breakfast.
I made her a chocolate cake with rainbow chip frosting. Greg decorated it...he's a man of many talents.
Leslie with her birthday gifts.
She was a very happy girl and loved all of her gifts. It was a success!
Now we have a 4 year old!!

Christmas Time is Here
After living in Victor for 3 weeks, we celebrated Christmas! It was a wonderful Christmas and was especially great after some rough weeks of sickness.
Greg worked the morning of Christmas Eve, but it was okay because he FINALLY saw a moose at work. It was like a Christmas miracle!
One of the best things about living in Victor is that you never have to wonder if you're going to have a white Christmas...it's pretty much guaranteed!
We called this Christmas our "Polly Pocket Christmas". The girls got TONS of Polly Pockets. It brought back a lot of childhood memories for me!
Caleb got these cute overalls from Mom Burr.
We got him some winter gear, which looked pretty adorable on him!
"I'm so done with Christmas!" ---He already has so much personality!!
The day after Christmas we drove to Rexburg as a family. Greg did initiatories in the temple, while the rest of us hung out by the nice nativity outside.

Christmas Letter 2018
Dearest Family and Friends,
As we have reflected on this year, we
are humbled by all of the wonderful things we have been blessed with.
It has been a great year and we have so much to be thankful for.
Greg- Greg reached his year mark
working at Enterprise Rent-a-Car last month. He has worked hard and
learned a lot in the last year working at various Enterprise
locations in Boise. In October an assistant manager position opened
up at the Jackson Hole, Wyoming Airport. He interviewed for the
position and was offered the job very soon after. After a lot of
prayer, we felt like it was the right thing for our family to move
three weeks before Christmas! Since Jackson is a pricey place to
live, we actually live about 45 minutes away from the airport in a
little town called Victor. It snows a lot, but it sure is beautiful.
Haley- At the beginning of this year we
found out that we were pregnant with our fourth child. Everyone was
very excited for the new addition, especially when we found out that
after having three girls, we were finally having a boy! I kept myself
busy in the mean time taking care of our three daughters, working at
VIPKid (as an online ESL teacher), and serving in Young Women's. In
April Greg and I celebrated our 8 years of marriage by watching the
ballet, Swan Lake. It was an amazing performance. We were able
to see family quite a bit this year, including a trip to St. George
to visit my parents on their mission and attend Greg's grandparents'
60th wedding anniversary party.
Emily- Emily loved her Kindergarten
year and learned so much. She is becoming a very good reader and
loves reading to her sisters. She started 1st grade in
Boise and is completing the year in Victor. It was a hard adjustment
for her at first, but she is starting to come out of her shell and
enjoy her new school more. Over the summer she took swim lessons and
attended a nature camp, both of which she loved. She is always doing
some kind of craft and is a very creative girl.
Leslie- Leslie turned 3 this year. She
loves to play with her sisters all day long. She went to Nature Camp
with Emily this summer and loved every minute of it. She has enjoyed
play dates that we do, frequent visits to the park, and the autumn
activities of going to the apple orchard and the pumpkin patch. She
got to go to Primary last Sunday and talked about it all week. She
has a bright smile and brings us so much joy.
Abby- Abby turned 2 this year. She
always has a little smerk on her face. Although she is very young,
she has quite a sense of humor and makes us all laugh. For Halloween
the girls were all witches. She loves having two older sisters and
being part of the fun. She enjoys being outside. This summer we
roasted marshmallows, went to Lucky Peak, and experienced the
Sawtooths, all of which she loved.
Caleb- Caleb just turned 3 months old.
He was born on September 21 and weighed 8 pounds when he was born. He
is by far our biggest baby. He has started to smile and have more
personality, which is very fun. We love having a little baby boy. We
are so grateful to add him to our family.
We are thankful for our Savior, Jesus
Christ and this time of year to reflect on His birth. We wish you all
a very Merry Christmas!
With Love,
The Burrs

Caleb

Victor, Idaho!
Greg started working at the Jackson Hole Airport on December 3, so we moved here on December 1. Since you pretty much have to be a millionaire to live in Jackson, we live in a small town called Victor, about 45 minutes from the airport. This is what it looks like right outside our front door. I think we'll have a white Christmas this year!
He doesn't mind his commute over the Teton Pass. It's kind of pretty...
This is what it looks like at the Jackson Airport. Turns out he doesn't mind the view.
Last week we took our family to see some things in Jackson. This picture was taken by the National Elk Refuge. We could have watched them for hours. Elk are very beautiful animals.

Hanging out in Jackson Town Square...it was FREEZING!!!
Our family by the elk antler arch...It was too cold to get Caleb out of his carseat!

On Wednesday, December 19 Emily had her Christmas Program at Victor Elementary. Pretty fun!
It's been a wild month, but somehow we managed to find the time to make Christmas plates. We don't know a lot of people, but it was definitely a highlight taking these around!
On Thursday we attended our Ward Christmas Party and Santa came! In photo: Abby
Emily with Santa (Leslie refused to sit on his lap).

Bye Boise
The Burrs all came to Boise this year for Thanksgiving. It was fun taking everyone to see the Christmas lights in Downtown Caldwell. It's always a highlight! In photo: Joel, Abby, Emily, Meric, Leslie, Prabhu, and Vanessa.

Greg got a promotion at Enterprise causing us to move from Boise. Boise definitely has felt like home for us, but it was an offer hard to turn down. He now works at the Jackson Hole Airport. Here is Emily's drawing that says, "I am moving to Jackson Wyoming on the first day of December."
Our last evening in Boise we spent with some of our favorite people: Ammon!

Some of the Joel Flakes: Savannah, Emery, Joel, Melanie, and Ammon.

Good bye, Patricia Lane!
We moved to Boise in April of 2016 when I was 37.5 weeks pregnant with Abby. We left when Caleb was two months old. Turns out a lot can happen in just 2.5 years! Now it's off to new adventures! Good bye Boise!
