Emily with her Sunbeam class on her first day in Primary (sorry I was late putting it on here).
Last Tuesday evening we took a little trip to the Ethel M. Chocolate Factory to look at their Valentine's Day light display.
It was really pretty and we even got our free chocolate!
Since we had company here over Valentine's Day weekend, we went on our date Thursday night. This was our seventh year being valentines! We went to Mimi's Cafe. It had probably been about 5 years since we had been there last, but it didn't disappoint. Turns out my chicken cordon bleu sandwich was just as amazing as it sounds...the company wasn't half bad either. :)
On Friday night we were so lucky to have Cassidy, Thomas, Derek, Clara, Dillon, and Emily come for a visit. We had such a great time and for most of them it was their first time in Vegas.
On Saturday morning we took them to see Hoover Dam.
It only made sense to take a picture like this one...
Here we are at Hoover Dam: Cassidy, Clara, Thomas, Derek, Dillon, Emily, Emily, me, and Greg.
That evening they got to see the Bellagio conservatory and fountain show.
On Sunday we decided it would be fun to have a dessert contest and best of all...everyone took it seriously so the desserts were amazing!
That evening we went to the Las Vegas temple and walked around the grounds. As it turned out, lots of people had the same idea as us that night. Derek and Dillon ran into a bunch of people that they knew which made the evening even more fun. Aren't Greg and Emily so cute??
It was the perfect Sunday activity and it was 73 degrees. Gotta love the winters in Vegas!
Cousin bonding time
Leslie is 9 months older than Thomas. Pretty cute babies!
This is the picture Dillon drew of me and Greg while he was here. He was looking at one of our old engagement pictures when he drew it (that's why I look skinny). He's quite the artist!
The last day they were here we took them to see the Ethel M. Chocolate factory and cactus garden.
Cute!
Yikes!
The crew! It was a fun trip and we hope they come visit again soon. P.S. How come the only people who look normal in this picture are the pregnant ones??

Family Fun
Last Saturday we met up with some of the Burrs in St. George. We drove up to Zion's and hiked to Emerald Pools.
The weather was perfect and the kids had so much, although it was super muddy! In photo: Dad Burr, Emily, Rachel, Meric, Joel, and Blake.
The Burr Bunch: Malerie, Michael, Vanessa, Aubry, Dad Burr, Meric, Joel, Emily, Rachel, Blake, and me.
It was a romantic hike...
Our little family..all "5" of us.
The only man who can handle me pregnant. ;-)
Little Emily growing up before our very eyes! She'll be 4 in May!
Aubry and her 3 kids stayed with us for a few days while Jesse was at a convention. Here are Joel and Emily playing princesses.
They loved playing 'Candyland' too.
Here they are at the park.
We also took them to the Ethel M. Chocolate Factory where they each got a free chocolate.
They loved walking around the cactus gardens behind the chocolate factory especially since it was all decked out for Valentine's Day!
Leslie started eating things off the floor. I guess I'm gonna have to start sweeping more. At least she's happy, right??
Valentine cookies anyone?
