Christmas Letter 2023

Dearest Family and Friends,

As we have reflected on this year, we are humbled by all of the wonderful things we have been blessed with. It has been a great year and we have so much to be thankful for.

Greg (39)- Greg has now worked at Enterprise Rent-A-Car for six years. Since we moved to Missouri, he  has been working as the Revenue Manager at the corporate office. Although he does miss working in a branch, it has been a huge blessing for our family to have Greg working from home 3 days a week! When he isn’t working, he loves to take out his telescope or play his guitar. A few months ago he got a new calling as the Singing Time leader in Primary. He is a natural!

Haley (39)- We have lived in Missouri for over a year now. It has been a year full of discovering all that St. Louis has to offer. Our family has really enjoyed going to the zoo, the arch, the history museum, the Botanical Gardens, the Butterfly House, the Magic House and the World Bird Sanctuary (to name a few!) St. Louis also has lots of fun parks with forests, rivers and tons of birds. A few months after we moved here, my parents decided to move out here as well. It has been so wonderful to live close to them and by two of my brothers (Derek and Dillon).

Emily (11)- Emily is our oldest and started middle school this year. She will finish Primary this month and go on to Young Womens in January. She is growing up! She continues to play the violin and has a deep love for it. This year she did soccer, Girls on the Run and Cross Country. She loves to read and crochet. She is a very driven girl and we are happy to have her in our family.

Leslie (8)- Leslie is in 3rd grade this year. In January she was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We were so proud of her to make that decision. In the spring she played soccer and really enjoyed it. In the summer she swam a lot in our neighborhood pool. She makes friends easily and always tries to do what is right.

Abby (7)- Abby is in 2nd grade this year. She is a fun girl who loves to laugh and be goofy. She has lost a lot of teeth is year, making her smile so cute. She also played soccer this year and swam a lot in our neighborhood pool. One of her favorite things to do is find cool rocks. She is loving school this year and is really blossoming in her reading.

Caleb (5)- Caleb is 5 and likes to speak his mind! This year we decided to do Preschool at home. He has done really well and looks forward to our “class” every day. Even though he is the only boy in our family, he loves his sisters so much and is always very excited for them to come home from school. Caleb’s favorite things are swimming, riding his bike and climbing trees.

Hannah (20 months)- Hannah has learned and grown so much this year. She is totally weaned, has a lot of teeth, can walk, say a few words, feed herself and sleep through the night (my favorite). Her smile brightens my day. She knows how to give hugs and kisses. She is really sweet with her siblings, who all adore her. Our home feels full and happy with her in it!

We are thankful for our Savior, Jesus Christ and this time of year to reflect on His birth. We wish you all a very Merry Christmas! His

Love,

Greg, Haley, Emily, Leslie, Abby, Caleb and Hannah Burr
