Abby's Birthday

These two are such sweet little friends.

I'm lucky to be "stuck" with my four kids all day, even though they're a little crazy sometimes. (Emily)

 Abby

Caleb

Abby turned 4 on April 19th. She brings a lot of laughter to our house.

She had been looking forward to her birthday for a long time. Finally it was here!

This picture was too cute not to post.

Time to blow out the candles!

I made the cake, but Greg can take all the credit for frosting it. He's got talent!

Abby with her gifts.

She had a great 4th birthday!!

This kid LOVES to dance!

 Precious baby boy!

These two

Closer

And even closer. I love his smile!

It has been interesting to be at home all the time. Emily has started Marco Poloing her cousins and they even had a zoom meeting. So grateful for technology!

Greg's sister Malerie and her family moved away on Friday. We went over to say good bye on Thursday night. The kids were having so much fun, it was hard to leave!

Leslie was especially sad about them moving.

On Saturday night Greg made his delicious homemade pizza. Caleb was a great helper.

He's a natural!

The girls spend hours playing toys, but they don't like to play with Caleb sometimes because he messes up their toys. So, they made a barricade to keep him out. It kind of works...

The kids started watching an episode of the Berenstain Bears every day. It teaches great values.

We continue to make art projects every day. This was the one from yesterday. They thought it was fun.

On Saturday afternoon we went on a hike up Seaman's Gulch Trail. Although it was very windy, everyone had fun. We have hiked it before, but it is the perfect length for our kids and we love the view of Boise at the top.

We're all in this together!

Easter and Greg's Birthday

During all of this social distancing, we've learned how we need to be better prepared for the future and what is the most important. Last week Greg got two of these huge empty barrels...now they are filled with water in case of an emergency.

My mom made us all face masks to help us better get through this pandemic.

There are lots of early morning cuddles with our kids. It has been so nice to not have the stress of rushing the kids off to school.

With being stuck in the house all day, you have to be creative. Greg made this awesome air mattress slide and a bunch of forts in the living room.

He is definitely the fun parent.

This kid LOVED it!

I started doing an art project with my kids every day. Some days are more fun than others, but this was one of my favorites from the week.

I take the kids outside to play every afternoon. There are always happy faces when we go.

I get to spend so much time with the kids, which is great. Especially when they're so cute!

Don't let this fool you though, he's not always this happy!

I was a little worried right before Easter because I couldn't find any eggs at the store. I'm so grateful I found some though. The girls were in heaven!

Abby turns 4 in a couple of days!

Caleb woke up from his nap just in time for the egg hunt.

He really loved finding eggs and eating the candy. He has quite the sweet tooth.

Success!!

Our bunny cake this year.

Happy Easter!!

On Wednesday Greg turned 36!

He wanted an angel food cake for his birthday. It was yummy! I realized later that the "6" on the cake was backwards...hehe!

After a few tears, we got a picture with the "6" the right way.

What a guy!

10 Year Anniversary in Quarantine

They LOVE to help bake treats...especially with their Dad!

Two friends

Silly boy

Riding bikes has become a favorite activity around here.

So addicted to his pacifier!

Kid Yoga

April 2nd was our 10 year anniversary. We celebrated it with the foods we had on our honeymoon. We started the day off with Greg's homemade cinnamon rolls...amazing!!

For lunch we had ham and cheese croissants with smoothies.

Greg made ALL of the meals and they were all so delicious. For dinner, we put the kids to bed early and had a nice romantic dinner together. Greg set the table all fancy.

We had sparkling cider, chicken cordon bleu, mashed potatoes, asparagus, garlic bread, and salad. We had chicken cordon bleu at our wedding dinner ten years ago.

Greg took the day off of work, so we got to spend it all together. I made him a little photo card of our ten years together, we played games, went on a drive with the kids, and watched our wedding movies. It was a great anniversary!

For dessert, Greg picked up some cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory. We had cheesecake at our wedding reception, so it seemed like the right thing to do. It did not disappoint!

So grateful I married such a wonderful guy ten years ago! We're still in love after all this time!

Two days later was General Conference. Thanks to some awesome church coloring books and packets, Greg and I were able to really listen to the talks. It was an amazing conference!

Caleb got every tupperware out and threw it on the floor. He's so proud of himself!
