Social Distancing

We completed our second week social distancing. Somehow we fill up our days and keep smiling. Here are the kids doing some Kid Yoga. It has become an essential part of the morning.

We built a fort out of blankets and chairs, which was totally their idea!

I started doing different art projects with the kids every day. My sister Sarah made me a bookmark with my name on it a million years ago and for some reason I still have it. Emily requested that we make some, so we did!

Caleb trying on Greg's glasses.

He kept laughing when I would put them over his ears.

At Emily's school they do "Friday Freedom" where they get to paint and play games in the afternoon. We decided to have Friday Freedom too!

I finally gave in and bought some sidewalk chalk for the kids. I'm not a huge fan of it just because it gets all over their clothes and shoes. Of course they loved it though and hopscotch was a hit!

The girls helped make pizza on Saturday night. Greg's pizza is always a favorite!

For the last month the girls have been learning the First Vision in preparation for General Conference. Today they finished memorizing it. We were so proud of them!

Primary at home! Off to another awesome week hanging out at home!

Quarantine Life

Since Saturday, March 14 we have only left our house to get groceries and go on drives to Greg's work. I have to admit, I was a little worried about all of the time we would have to spend at home..but it has actually been really good. The kids have loved having endless hours to play with each other!

We bought the kids bike helmets, so now every afternoon they ride bikes around our house. It is their favorite part of the day!

This little guy just turned 18 months old!!

Three Friends (most of the time)

Lots of quality time with each other.

On Friday our kids finally got to watch "Frozen 2" on Disney+. They had been looking forward to it for months!

Future missionary

Everyone's favorite little buddy!

We love home church!!

Poor Caleb...this is what happens when you ONLY have sisters!

Art Project Time...I'm sure we'll be doing a lot more of these! On to another week living in quarantine!

February and March

On Friday, February 21, we made a special trip to Utah for Dad Burr's 60th birthday. It was a really fun surprise birthday party!

Chocolate cake with white frosting is always a good decision for birthday cake!

On Saturday we all went to the aquarium in Salt Lake. Here are the girls with their cousin, Millie.

I know this picture is blurry, but the kids were being so cute with their cousin, Prahbu.

Emily with her newest cousin, Navy Kay.

The kids had so much fun and of course didn't want to leave. In photo: Greg, Caleb, Leslie, Dad Burr, Abby, Mom Burr, and Emily.

While we were in Utah, we made a quick stop in Provo to see Greg's grandparents. It was a highlight for sure!

At the end of February Leslie had a Preschool field trip at Pojo's.

The kids were the most excited to ride the carousel.

They still had fun, even though most of the rides they didn't quite understand how to play.

It was fun to meet up with my friend Allison. Her kids are in Leslie's class. Here is Leslie and Allison's daughter, Violet.

Allison did the bumper cars with the kids.

Leslie was just barely tall enough to play! It was a fun day!

A few days later Emily was chosen as the Ram of the Week at school. It was her third time!!

The kids like eating lunch with her at school.

At Emily's Activity Days last week, they painted pictures of the temple. I thought Emily's was really good.

She keeps losing more teeth. This morning she said that she has made $8 from the tooth fairy because of all of the teeth she has lost.

Emily Mazel, 7 years old

Leslie Loraine, 5 years old

She is finally 40 inches tall!

Abby and Caleb are cute little friends.

Abby Love, 3 years old

Some mornings are so tiring, but I sure love my boy!

Even if he does make lots of messes all over the house!

Sweet little cuddles make it all worth it!

Here his is being cute at Dad and Mom's house.

He is getting so big!

Caleb Ray, 17 months old

Little boys are a lot of fun!

Until next time!
