The Sawtooths

When we got home from our St. George trip, Greg cut Emily's hair. We thought it was pretty cute, but she said, "It makes me look like a completely different person!" She sounds like a teenager...

30 (weeks), flirty, and thriving...;-)

At my favorite place with my favorite guy. That's the Boise Temple, by the way.

On July 28, we went on a day trip to Stanely, Idaho. It's about 3 hours away from Boise, but the kids were pretty good in the car...as long as they got food. ;-)

We arrived at Stanley Lake around lunch time and ate (although the girls were too excited and not super hungry).

The girls got so wet playing in the water, but it was the perfect temperature. We all loved it!

Emily LOVED the sand.

Not a flattering picture of me, but everyone else looks good!

On our drive Greg kept saying, "It's so beautiful here. Wow!" He had been wanting to go there all summer and we finally made it up there!

Then we drove about 15 more minutes to Red Fish Lake. It was pretty crowded, but we managed to find the perfect spot to take our raft and play on the beach.

"Dad, can you help us build a sand castle?"

I think we found everyone's happy place!

Right before we left, we went on a little nature walk and saw a bald eagle. I guess you could say our trip was a success!

St. George Trip---Part 2

On the 4th of July we took the kids to another splash pad in St. George. Man, this town has some pretty awesome ones!

Then my parents drove us around to the cool spots in St. George. Here are Greg, Ben, and Dad at Tuacahn.

It was really great to see my sister Ashley for a few days. Her and her family live in Indiana so we typically only get to see them once a year. In picture: Cheyenne, Ashley, Delaney, and me.

It was also so fun to see my parents while serving their mission. They'll be home in January!!

On July 5 we made a stop in Parowan, Utah to visit one of my favorite cousins, Anthony Beal. It was so fun to spend an afternoon with Anthony, Carla, and their six daughters (one of which was only 6 days old). It was definitely a highlight for us.

That evening we headed back to St. George for the beginning of the Burr Reunion for Grandpa and Grandma Burr's 60th wedding anniversary. Here are Abby and Vanessa in their matching shirts.

Cousins hug!

St. George Trip---Part 1

On Saturday, June 20, we drove down to Paragonah, Utah for the Gunderson family reunion (Greg's mom's side). Greg had fun reuniting with his cousin Adam, the only one who is his same age.

"We're making brownies!" Emily said...it was actually mud! They were making memories, but it was pretty messy!

Me blowing bubbles to Abby and Vanessa. Abby thought it was hilarious!

The two inseparable cousins: Abby and Vanessa.

On Sunday night we drove to St. George and then on Monday, July 2, we went over to the Brigham Young Home to meet up with my parents and the Dilsavers. My parents are serving as missionaries there, so they gave us a tour. That's a lot of little kids!

That afternoon we headed over to a really fun splash pad. Since it was in the 100s, it felt perfect!

They didn't want to leave: Emily, Cheyenne, and Delaney.

The kids watching a movie on Dad and Mom's bed. Who knew Barbie shows were so entertaining?

On Tuesday morning we hiked the Red Cliffs. It was really hot and we ran out of water, but we managed to still get some fun pictures!

That evening Dad and Mom took us on a tour of the St. George Visitors' Center.
