Sweet November

At the begining of November we got some snow!

On Mondays the girls have virtual school, so during their breaks, they would run outside and play in the snow!

In about ten minutes they were able to build a snowman all on their own!

I was so impressed! Meet their snowman, Olaf.

Caleb is not a fan of the snow and preferred to watch them from inside.

Over the course of a few Family Home Evenings, we made a pretty impressive thankful turkey.

We continue to make little crafts on Wednesdays and Fridays...now they are all Thanksgiving themed.

Our Thanksgiving friends

Our three turkeys

Another turkey friend (almost looks like a peacock).

This is a page out of Emily's thankful journal at school. I thought this page was really sweet.

A nice note from Leslie's Kindergarten teacher.

Our kids are beginning to develop a love of the scriptures.

Leslie highlights her sight words in the scriptures...and her favorite prophet's name.

We have so much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving!

Halloween 2020

Autumn in Boise has been really beautiful. This last week tons of leaves have fallen off the trees. I guess winter is just around the corner!

Two years ago these three girls were witches for Halloween. This year they were witches again! I knew they weren't having class parties or trunk or treat or Halloween parades and maybe even no trick or treating, so their costumes were very uncreative. They loved being witches though and like always, they played in their costumes well before Halloween.

His kid never hides his emotions!

On Halloween we took our kids over to Linder Farms to see the pumpkin patch.

It's one of our favorite fall traditions!

Emily loved the zipline.

The barrel train was bumpy, but fun!

Happy little boy

I enjoyed watching everyone go down the big slides!

Fall fun!

My favorite part: the hayride.

When we got home, we found this note on our doorstep with four large balloons.

The balloons were full of candy. It was a fun way to start off the Halloween night.

Our scary jack-o-lanterns.

Our three witches and a little pirate.

Happy Halloween!

Greg's branch at work dressed up as Scooby Doo. Pretty cute!

Our witch craft

We had fun making some crafts with tissue paper.

Our black cat

Thanksgiving craft: pumpkin pie!

"Mom, we're going to read our scriptures."

This boy is so full of cuteness and personality.

Until next time!
