June Days

Last Saturday we went on hike called Owl's Roost. It was up in the Boise foothills.

We saw some animals along the way: birds, deer, butterflies, a bunny, and even a few owls! The trail had everything a kid loves: trees to climb and a river to throw rocks in.

Emily Mazel, 8

Leslie Loraine, 5

Abigail Love, 4

Caleb Ray, 21 months

Some day this kid won't like pacifiers, but today isn't that day... We do have him down to only using them when he sleeps.

Greg cut Caleb's hair last night and he looks like a different person!

Our 4 beauties!

Happy Father's Day!

This Week

On Tuesday afternoon I took the kids over to Hyatt Hidden Lakes Reserve, here in Boise.

The kids loved watching all of the birds.

It was the perfect day for a little hike.

On Wednesday I took the kids to the M.K. Nature Center. The actual center was closed, but we had a great time walking around on the grounds.

Say cheese!

We lucked out and saw some deer on our nature walk.

Leslie named this one Bambi.

Hanging out in the eagle's nest.

We saw tons of fish, including some dinosaur fish that were 6 feet long. Pretty fun!

On Friday we went swimming at Dad and Mom's neighborhood pool. The Joel Flakes were there too!

He is so big!

After 3 months of having church at home, we finally got to have the sacrament in our ward today! Only about 40 people were there and we all sat far apart from each other, but it was nice to be back in the church building together!

The Beginning of Summer

Dad and Mom bought this awesome rocking horse at a garage sale. The kids loved it!

So cute!

The kids always fall asleep on the way home from Middleton. It amazes me the different positions these kids can sleep.

He looks so peaceful sleeping with a bag of goldfish!

We bought a sprinkler last week and put it under the trampoline. It has become part of our "daily routine" to play in the sprinkler every afternoon.

Caleb will only get on the trampoline if the sprinkler is off!

Special delivery!

Hanging out at the park.

This kid is always getting hurt. A couple of days ago he hit his head really hard on the rocking chair. He got a pretty good goose egg to show for it!

Our own little Charlie Brown.

Yesterday we took the kids on a drive up the canyon about 20 miles from Idaho City. We found a fun little creek that the kids played in.

Happy little Leslie

We love the summer!
