It has been such a fun summer. These kids are in for a rude awakening when school starts in 3 weeks!
Last Saturday we went to Tamarack to hang out with Joel's family, Sarah's family, and Dad and Mom. Here is Caleb with his cousin, Hazel.
We started off the day huckleberry picking.

When we finished picking, we went on a little hike back to Joel and Melanie's place. It was so pretty!
Later that morning, the adults and teenagers rode the ski lift to the top of the mountain. It was very breathtaking!

Last Tuesday Emily had a Pinewood Derby at Activity Days.
She spent a lot of time painting her car and making it look just the way she wanted.
She painted a hummingbird on it with flowers. We called her car "The Hummingbird".
She competed with 23 other kids and got 4th place! She also won "Most Artistic". She was a very happy girl!
On Thursday night we stayed the night at my parents' place.

On Friday, June 23 we finally got to go back to the temple! So happy I got to go with my favorite person! What a wonderful day!
The last week in June we had a great Burr Family Reunion in Morgan, Utah. We stayed in an Airbnb there and had lots of fun. Here is Emily playing some foosball with her cousins, Joel and Meric.

There were a couple of horses that would walk by during the day. The kids thought that was pretty cool.

That night our family performed a dance to the song "Shake It Off" for the Talent Show. I sure love this family of mine.

At one of the Burr reunions when Greg was a kid they made chicken string puppets and had a parade. This year the kids all made one and we had a parade of our own!

Our kids said one of their favorite parts of the reunion was making the chickens and having the chicken parade.
