Christmas Letter 2022

Dearest Family and Friends,

As we have reflected on this year, we are humbled by all of the wonderful things we have been blessed with. It has been a great year and we have so much to be grateful for.

Greg (38)- Greg has now worked at Enterprise Rent-A-Car for five years. After working as a branch manager for the last 3 years, he got a promotion to work at the corporate headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri. For the last two months he has been working as the Revenue Manager over the Quebec area in Canada. Although our family was sad to leave Boise, it has been a tremendous blessing for our family to have Greg working from home 3 days a week! He has also developed a new hobby this year of playing the guitar!

Haley (38)- In April of this year I delivered our fifth child (and fourth girl), Hannah Kay. She came right on her due date and is a sweet addition to our family. This summer I organized a family reunion up in Atlanta, Idaho for all of my brothers and sisters and their families. The scenery was amazing and we made some wonderful memories. Later that summer we took our family to Yellowstone and eastern Idaho. Summers in Idaho are so magical and our kids loved seeing all the wildlife. At the beginning of this month, we bought a home, here in Missouri. After 6 years of not being homeowners, it feels great to own a house again!

Emily (10)- Emily is our oldest and is in 5th grade this year. She started playing the violin and has a deep love for the instrument, much like her father. This year Emily has also taken swim lessons and played soccer. She loves to read and crochet. She also put on her first bake sale, which was a success! She is a fun oldest sister and we’re so grateful to have her in our family.

Leslie (7)- Leslie is in 2nd grade this year and is becoming quite the reader. She took swim lessons and played soccer this year. She and Emily also took a few sewing lessons, which they both really enjoyed. Leslie loves to ride her bike, color, and jump on the trampoline with her siblings.

Abby (6)- Abby is in 1st grade this year. It has been difficult for little Abby to move during the middle of the school year, but she is starting to get more comfortable here and develop friendships. The highlight of Abby’s day is seeing her sisters at school. Abby also really enjoyed taking swim lessons and playing soccer this year.

Caleb (4)- Caleb is 4 and loves to speak his mind! This year he started learning his letters and saying his own prayers. He is also a big fan of trampoline parks. He loves to play catch with his dad and be outside...even when it’s really cold! It is so fun to have a boy in our family!

Hannah (8 months)- Hannah was born on April 1st of this year (April Fool’s Day). We all look forward to the pranks she will pull later in life. She has been a very sweet baby and very loved by her siblings. She just recently cut two teeth and has started army crawling. Our home feels full and happy with her in it!

We are thankful for our Savior, Jesus Christ and this time of year to reflect on His birth. We wish you all a very Merry Christmas! His

Love,

Greg, Haley, Emily, Leslie, Abby, Caleb and Hannah Burr

October 2022

On Thursday, October 13, we flew out of the Boise Airport to move our family to St. Louis, Missouri.

The kids all did really well on the airplane.

Happy kids!

One short layover in Salt Lake City.

The first thing we did when we got to St. Louis was drive by Greg's work at the Enterprise Corporate office.

A beautiful campus that he only goes to twice a week. The rest of the time he works from home!

We all love having him around more!

It's an added bonus to live by my brothers: Derek and Dillon!

Our rental is a mere 3 minutes from Derek's house!

Our kids love seeing their cousins more. Poor Josie...

Little Friends

Cute cousins listening to Tom read.

A few days after we moved we went on a walk in Sunset Park. It was gorgeous!

It's right along the wide Missouri River. Quite breathtaking.

One Saturday in October we took our family to the St. Louis Zoo. It did not disappoint!

Fall was so magical in St. Louis!

Getting ready for Halloween!

Our sweet little Hannah Kay❤
