Our Joel Flake Reunion was over the 4th of July weekend this year. We all met in a lodge in Westcliffe, Colorado. Everyone was in attendance, except for my nephew Preston. It was a fun time!
A few days before the reunion my brother Justin's family came to see us. It was a great time and they loved the antler arches in Jackson!
Eden and Leslie became instant buddies!
The reunion started on Thursday, July 4. It was fun to all be able to stay at the same lodge and have catered meals. Here are Emily and Leslie with some cousins close to their ages.
Abby always wanted to be with Grandpa the entire reunion. It was pretty cute!
The first night the adults played some Movie Jeopardy. We all shared a lot of laughs!
The next day most of us went hiking. It was really awesome to hike with some of my siblings: Joel, Sarah, Justin, Heather, and Ashley. We had lots of great talks.
Greg was hiking with some of the teenagers, so I met up with him along the way. I sure like him!
My younger brothers watched Caleb while we were hiking. It's nice to know he's so loved!
After some fun swimming, the adults played some more games taught to us by our niece, Merrody. My favorite game we played was Chicken Taco Chicken Taco Boom. So funny!
On Saturday we spent some time fishing/hanging out at the lake. The scenery was so beautiful!

Sarah gave everyone a "Flake" candy bar at the end of the reunion. I've never been ashamed to be called a "flake".
Saturday night was full of goodbyes because Sunday morning we all headed back home.
