July and August have been such beautiful months here. The kids had so much fun playing at the Victor City Park.
Especially this guy...he LOVES crawling in the grass!
It was the perfect day to be at the park.
On Wednesday, August 7 Emily asked me, "Mom, do you think my tooth is going to fall out?" I took this picture to show her just how loose it was.
Five minutes later, THIS happened. She lost her third tooth!
The tooth fairy kept forgetting to look under her pillow, so she left her a note. Thankfully she FINALLY came! ;-)
On August 8, I met up with my sister Sarah in Rexburg. She was touring BYU-I with her kids. It was fun to see her!
I took the kids over to the Rexburg temple while we were there.
Then over to Porter Park to play in the water,
go on the swings,
go down the slides,
and ride the carousel.
All smiles
It was a fun day!
One Sunday we went on a drive through Driggs and saw a pretty awesome view of the Tetons.
Here is Greg's bucket list of hikes he wanted to do this summer. Needless to say, we've had a pretty awesome summer!
Last weekend we took a quick trip to Horseshoe Bend to visit Grandpa and Grandma Flake. The girls loved eating "unicorn" Lucky Charms.
Caleb with his favorite guy!
Until next time!

July Journeys
Having three girls is a lot of fun...especially when they all agree to have pigtails!
Emily, 7
Leslie, 4
Abby, 3... I am finally able to put pigtails in her hair, that is quite the milestone!
Caleb, 10.5 months (he didn't want to be left out).
At the beginning of this month we took a trip to Utah to see the Burrs. Greg's sister, Aubry and her family recently moved to Texas. We were all pretty sad to see them go.
Burr cousins playing with bubbles.
The kids had a lot of fun!
All of the Burr grandkids with Dad and Mom Burr.
The following week my parents came to Victor for a visit.
We took them to Coal Creek just past the Wyoming border to show them the beautiful wildflowers...which they LOVED!
Here is the view at the top of the Teton Pass. Greg gets to see this every day when he goes to work. Absolutely breathtaking!
We took them to see Jenny Lake which was SO BEAUTIFUL!
They also got to see Falls Creek Falls in Swan Valley, Idaho. I really like waterfalls!
To top it all off we saw two moose, or as Brian Regan would say..."moosen".
When my parents came they gave me some old pictures of myself. I gave a bunch of them to our kids because naturally they would want them, right?? I found this one on the counter in the bathroom with water all over it. Where's the respect??
Last weekend we took a day trip to Rupert, Idaho to hang out with some of my Flake cousins, aunts, and uncles. Some of them I hadn't seen in years. It was really fun!
Some of my favorite cousins: Anthony, Julia, and Laurel.
On the Flake side there are 7 cousins my age. It was really great to see 4 of them at this reunion!
Some mornings I wake up to beautiful sunsets like this! Sorry, this picture doesn't do it justice.
35 years old and feelin' it!
Kids are so cute when they are sleeping...
Little Abby looking at some library books.
Yesterday we went on a short hike in Darby Canyon. Caleb loves being outside and typically looks like this when we go.
The girls had fun throwing rocks in the river and being outside too. We're so lucky to live so close to such beautiful places.
Smiley Caleb
His smile brightens my day. He's starting to get some teeth on the top.
Until next time!
