End of Summer and New School Year

The kids had a fun summer, even given the circumstances of 2020. Lots of time spent at the park, splash pads, riding bikes, and jumping on the trampoline. 

This kid keeps me on my toes, but we sure love having our little boy who is almost 2!

I'm so glad they have each other!

These will be days looked back on with fondness.

Monday, August 17 was Emily and Leslie's first day of school!

Emily is in 3rd grade at Koelsch Elementary.

Leslie is in Kindergarten at Koelsch Elementary.

The Covid cases are really high here, so even though we signed them up for in-person class, the first 3 weeks (at least) will be online.

We're all in this together!

On Saturday we took our kids to the Boise Zoo. They LOVED it!

August Fun!

We love living in Boise because we don't have to go far to find fun hikes to go on.

On Saturday, August 1, we went on a hike at Camel's Back Park. It was a little steep, but the kids still made it to the top!

So many fantastic views!

No wonder it's called the "City of the trees".

On every hike we always seem to find a creek. The kids could throw rocks for hours.

Leslie found a white rock and called it her "Baptism Rock". She said, "I'm never going to throw it away!"

Ice cream has become a great friend of ours this summer. The kids had fun making these paper ice cream cones.

It's the only way to eat an ice cream cone!

Yesterday Greg took me on a date. We went ziplining at Eagle Island.

We had to wear face masks and helmets, but we still had so much fun!

The towers were high, but the views were exquisite.

We got to zipline on 6 different lines. We even got to race a couple of times.

Such a fun date!

After being married for 10 years, I still really like him!
